The Hyland House Show has been scheduled for July 10 through August 2, with Receiving on July 7, 10 AM to Noon, and with an opening reception on July 10 from 6 to 8 PM.
Any artist who has painted with CTSA during the past two years, either on location or in our studio sessions at Dudley Farm or at the Community Center, may exhibit up to four paintings. There are no guidelines for subject matter, and you may exhibit any painting that you have created, whether or not it was done at a CTSA outing or whether you have shown it at Hyland House in the past.
There will be no entry fees, and no commission is required from any sales.
The July 10th opening reception will be a catered affair with wine and beer, which will be a fund-raiser for Hyland House. Exhibiting artists are invited guests (FREE).
Take down will be August 4 from 10 to Noon.
Please remember that this is not a typical art show, where paintings are hung on the walls. Instead, we exhibit the paintings on easels and on a small non-used stairway by propping them up with non-skid tabs to keep them in place. We take great care to place them where they will be safe from accidental breakage, but perhaps the chances of a mishap are slightly higher than in the usual display situation.
