Paint Out Tues & Thurs Sept 29 & Oct 1 at Clinton Landing

This week we'll be painting behind the Clinton Town Hall, looking out over the Indian River. Directions as usual at http://ctsa-guilford.blogspot.com/p/directions-to-venues.html   Here is an early spring photo. We'll find a lot more color this week, of course.

Last Tuesday on the Madison Green, it was chilly and windy with a bit of sunshine and six intrepid people (Robin, Jay Babina, Betsey, Eve, Sally, Veronica) showed up anyway and had a very enjoyable morning. On Thursday, Betsey sent me this report: A beautiful day on the scenic Madison Green with stately trees, antique architecture & an adorable puppy! Bev S. stopped by for a socializing visit with her brand new Golden, Bailey, who charmed everyone in sight!  Three painters, Tom, Nancy & me stayed ‘till noon.
Thanks, Betsey! (Sorry I missed Beverly and her puppy!)

Paint Out Tues & Thurs 15 & 17 Sept at Dudley Farm in Guilford

Next week we will be at an old favorite, Dudley Farm (directions as usual at https://ctsa-guilford.blogspot.com/). For those of you new to Dudley, the farmhouse is a museum, the grounds are a typical 1840's farmyard with sheds and barns, henhouse, sheep pen, oxen field, etc. A hiking trail leads into the woods here, and there is also a community garden.

This past week we painted at the Brewer, Bruce, & Johnson Marina (now also known as Safe Harbor, I noted) in Branford. Tuesday's weather was very pleasant; Nancy, Jackie, Eve, Jay Babina, Veronica, Sandy, Pam, and Diana were there. On Thursday it rained, and Jay Bright had the place to himself.

Paint Out Sept 8 & 10, Brewer Bruce and Johnson Marina, Branford

This week on Tues Sept 8 and Thurs Sept 10 we will be  painting at the Brewer Bruce and Johnson Marina in Branford. Directions as usual on our blog at http://ctsa-guilford.blogspot.com/p/directions-to-venues.html.

Last week on Tuesday Betsey tells me that several painters enjoyed the commerce and breezes along the banks of the Indian River in Clinton.  Present were; Keiko, Jackie, Jane, Nancy, Tom, Denise, Eve, Diana and Sandy who dropped briefly by for a visit. Most stayed until the church bells chimed at noon.

On Thursday she reports that she painted there again, with Robin, Jay Bright, Jane, Tom, Mike, and Nancy, who all enjoyed the blue skies & summer sunshine.

Thank you, Betsey and Jay for lovely photos.
