More of Our Group's Paintings

I'm so happy to be able to show you more today. Thanks to Tom, By the River, Palm, and Sailing School (he's been sunning himself in Florida; can you tell?); to Patty, Dancing Daffodils; to Jay, Nolde Inspiration; and to Mary, Marti and Childhood Home.
So lovely!

I figured it out.

Sorry I couldn't put the photos into the post you just received, but it turns out Google added a wrinkle that I needed to deal with. So here are watercolors by Rosemary, Cranes, and Kay, Graffiti in G Minor. Thanks, painters!

If you'd like your paintings to be added to the blog, please email them to me at veronicadotsoellatgmaildotcom

Happy Spring (I think...)

Hello everyone,

Now that we are all stuck at home, of course we haven't been able to go out to paint together. But maybe the time is coming soon - after all, next week you can get your hair cut if you haven't decided you actually like it long.

Two of our painters have offered their work to add to this blog post. Thank you, Rosemary and Kay. (Oops, the program isn't letting me do that; I will try again with another post.)

And here's an idea, borrowed from my sister's Dublin Sketchers group. They “go” to a particular place and all sketch that place and then send in their sketches so they can be put on the blog http://www.dublinsketchers.com/. (Obviously, the group can’t go to the destination in person so each person finds a photo online and works from that.) Take a look at last week’s Dublin Sketcher paintings of Howth Head, across the bay from the city. They are stunning (especially a sailboat by my sister Caroline!). Perhaps we could think of doing something similar along the shoreline.

Let me know what you think about possibly starting up again with masks, social distancing and all of that. veronicadotsoellatgmaildotcom
