This announcement landed in my inbox yesterday. Really short notice, but it looks like a great opportunity for the adventuresome plein air painter with a flexible schedule.
Can these prices be real? Of course, you have to add travel and lodging and daily food, but the program itself looks almost too good to be true.
Maybe at least something to think about for next year...

(SCARF), the Humboldt Lodging Alliance, and King Conservation Range of the
Bureau of Land Management.
Registration is $70.
-Includes Welcome Dinner for artist and 1 guest
-Workshop by Professor Eun Hwang $40 Demonstration -Daily guided nature walks by the Bureau of Land Management -9 hole golf course with $10 per day green fees (yes, $10) -Saturday night Silent Auction & Art reception -Sunday Quick Draw Contest -Community Mural painted
