Dudley Farm August 27, 2015

It was an incredibly beautiful day at Dudley Farm.  Sixteen painters arrived to paint (Gretchen and her granddaughter Mallory, Sharon, Anne, Denise, Tom, Patty, Isabel, Jay, Judy, Betsey, Roseanne, Julia, Pat, Bob, and me) and one (Pam) to join us for lunch.  Not everyone stopped painting to eat and others had to leave early.

Jay was painting the front porch of the farmhouse and sold the painting on the spot.  He's been doing that a lot lately.

When I got home, I had an email from Patty saying she had just read on the Guilford Patch that the road to Chaffinch Island is being worked on and Chaffinch Island Park will be closed for the month of September.  What a shame.  So next week we'll be painting at Stony Creek.

By the way, did you know that when you receive this posting in your email that you can click on the dark blue title and it will open the blog in your browser.  You can then single click on the first photo image and it will enlarge; use your right arrow button to scroll through the photos in a larger format.  -Sally
