Sorry. I had made adjustments to the directions yesterday, but the cut and paste failed, and I neglected to check it. Here is my slightly better effort to provide directions. If you're not following the directions from Guilford, you might have to use your GPS (never a bad idea) or check out directions online. These directions now also are posted under the blog's Directions Page.

PARMELEE FARM, 465 Higganum Road (CT-81), Killingworth
Directions are from Guilford. If your starting
point is east of Route 79 in Madison, you probably want to head for Rte. 81 in
Clinton (Exit 63 from I-95), or if you are further east, it might be better to head
up Rte. 9 to Chester and then down Rte. 148 to the intersection of Rte. 81.
From Guilford, head north on I-95, and take Exit 61. Turn left (north)
on Rte. 79. After 1.1 mi, turn right (northeast) onto ?Green Hill Road. Go 4.3 mi, and turn left onto Rte. 81. After 0.4 mi, at the traffic circle, take the
second exit, and stay on Rte. 81-N. In
2.1 mi, the entrance will be on your right, just north of the entrance to the
Haddam-Killingworth Middle School, and just south of Rte. 143/Rte. 81
intersection.
Please park in the large parking area, and do not take your vehicle
further onto the property.
