Hyland House Exhibit and Opening Reception

Greetings to All,

We received paintings this morning for our Hyland House Exhibit, which will be on display at 84 Boston Street until August 3. We have broad participation and plenty of paintings to make this a nice exhibit, with lots of different reflections of Guilford.

The opening reception, this Saturday, July 12, from 6 to 8 PM, is a fund-raiser for Hyland House, but FREE FOR ALL PARTICIPATING ARTISTS, who also may bring one guest free of charge. The charge for others will be $35. The reception will be held in the back garden area and catered by The Mad Gourmet. If last year's reception is any measure, I think we can look forward to great food and wine and a good time. And, of course, it's an opportunity to tell people about your artwork.

This also is the night when Guilford will be having its holiday fireworks display, so here is an opportunity to have a double dip of recreation. Or if you want to skip the fireworks, there's plenty of time to attend our reception and get on the road before the fireworks activity begins.
