Florence Griswold Museum -- 25 July 2014

Finally, I have some time to post our paint-out of the week.

Eleven painters showed up on our second rain date of the year for Flo Gris -- a great turnout considering that it's mid-summer and everyone has a schedule a mile long. We were Kay, Kaleigh, Jay Bt, John, Tom, Terry, Tina, Veronica, Sandy, David, who had to leave early, and me. It was a most perfect day, a bit cool when we first arrived, transitioning to hot but not uncomfortable at mid-day. The big garden by the barns was in full bloom and being tended by an enthusiastic crew in light blue shirts. Tina and Tom worked in oil. The birdsong along the waterfront was delightful, but most of us worked from high on the lawn.
