Paint Out Tues & Thurs June 22 & 24, Madison Historic Green

The Green offers plenty of trees for shade, historic buildings including the Academy museum, the church, roadside houses. Directions as usual at our blog, https://ctsa-guilford.blogspot.com/.

Note: We have changed the destination for July 6 & 8 from Founder's Park in Old Saybrook, to Chatfield Hollow State Park in Killingworth. Also, a reminder that it is still possible that the email feature of this blog may be cancelled by then; we may possibly have a fix, but that is still not clear. Last week at the Guilford Marina, on Tuesday Tom and Nancy painted and Betsey took photos. On Thursday, Nancy and Keiko painted. It was very windy (and no shade) and some of us came but decided to go and have coffee in the shade instead of painting.

Last week at the boat launch in Clinton, Jane, Tom, Jay Bright, Marlee, Betsey, Nancy and Veronica painted in two locations near the Aqua restaurant. Beautiful weather, high light clouds, cool breezes, very pleasant.

 

 

Paint Out Tues & Thurs June 8 & 10 at Clinton Boat Launch

My apologies - a very busy weekend and I forgot to write my blog post. I hope everyone knows that the list of dates and destinations is on the blog at https://ctsa-guilford.blogspot.com/, home page, column on the right.

This information may become even more relevant soon. The Google blogger program has informed me that the email feed (how you receive the weekly post from me after you have entered your email address in the home page column on the right) is going away in July. This means that you would no longer receive the blog post that tells you where we're painting next. I would still post on the blog, but you would have to go look online to see the latest info and photos.

I'm working with my son to try to find a work-around, but don't know whether we will succeed. It seems very difficult.

In the meantime, this week we are at Clinton Boat Launch and here are photos of the location.
