Paint Out Tues & Thurs Oct 5 & 7, Clinton Town Beach

Clinton Town Beach offers river views, kayak racks, children's playground, ocean beach, islands, view of a marina, plenty of interesting subjects. We can paint there only before or after the summer beach season, so now's our chance! Directions as usual at https://ctsa-guilford.blogspot.com/p/directions-to-venues.html.

Last week on Thursday Betsey, Cheryl, Sandy, and Veronica painted at Chaffinch Island Park in Guilford. It was a glorious day, a bit breezy and chilly at first but warming up. We were entertained by boats going by on the river, a person doing yoga on the rocks, someone singing and playing a flute, occasional dog walkers - and the spectacular view of the sky and water on the Sound.

Other features are the pond with covered bridge, the curving lane up to the garden allotments, several barns and outbuildings, sometimes farm equipment, and a shelter for rainy days. A beautful location.

It was a lovely day and we had lunch in Tom and Diane's beautiful yard. Thank you very much for your hospitality, Tom.
